Wheel Offset & Fitment Calculator
Effective date: October 12, 2026
1. Scope and contact
This policy describes Wheel Offset & Fitment Calculator, provided under the Set In Stone brand by the app provider identified on its App Store listing. Contact [email protected] with “Wheel Fitment privacy” in the subject for privacy questions or requests.
It distinguishes information kept on your device from information processed by Apple, our website host, or your email provider. Those services have their own privacy policies.
2. Calculations and local storage
Wheel and tire dimensions, offsets, saved setup names, saved configurations, comparison history, and associated dates are processed and stored on your device. The app uses a local SwiftData database with CloudKit synchronization disabled. It does not upload your fitment records to a developer-operated server.
Appearance, measurement units, onboarding progress and choices, and purchase-access preferences are also stored locally. There is no app-provider account, vehicle-account service, or developer-operated cloud backup. We cannot remotely inspect, recover, change, or erase your local records.
3. Purchases through Apple
Apple StoreKit displays the current storefront price, processes the one-time lifetime purchase, checks verified transactions, and restores eligible access. The app receives the limited product, transaction, entitlement, and revocation information needed for these functions. Purchase requests and entitlement checks may communicate with Apple even though your fitment records remain local.
Apple handles Apple Account and payment information. We do not receive your full payment-card details through StoreKit. Apple may provide the developer with sales and financial reports under its own distribution services; those reports do not give us your saved fitment database.
4. Analytics, advertising and permissions
The current app has no third-party advertising, behavioral analytics, crash-reporting, authentication, or tracking SDK. It does not sell local fitment records or use them for cross-app advertising. Its privacy manifest declares no developer collection or tracking.
The calculator does not request camera, microphone, contact, photo-library, or location access. Dimensions are entered by you; the app does not scan your vehicle or measure its physical clearance. Opening support or legal links uses an external browser or Apple’s URL-opening services.
5. Website visits and support messages
The support and legal website is hosted by Cloudflare. Visiting it involves ordinary connection information, such as an IP address and browser request information, processed to deliver and protect the website. Website processing is separate from the app’s local database. Cloudflare describes its practices in its privacy policy.
If you email support, we receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and investigate the issue. Do not send an Apple Account password, payment-card details, or information you do not want to share. No local record is attached automatically by the app.
6. Retention, deletion and backups
Saved setups and history remain locally until you delete them in the app or remove its app container. Device or iCloud backups may retain copies according to your Apple backup settings. Apple retains purchase records under its own policies; deleting the app does not erase or refund an Apple purchase.
Support correspondence is retained only as needed to address the request, resolve related issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not maintain a separate server copy of your fitment database.
7. Your rights and third-party services
You can view, edit, and delete your saved setups and comparison history in the app. For information you sent directly to support, contact [email protected] to request access, correction, or deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may have additional privacy rights and the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. We may request proportionate verification of a request but will not ask for your Apple Account password.
Local processing provides the calculator and storage features you request. Apple purchase processing supplies the transaction you initiate. Support and website processing serve the purpose of answering requests and operating a secure website, subject to applicable law. Apple, Cloudflare, and email or backup providers may process information in countries where they operate; consult their notices for the services they control.
8. Children and changes
The app is a general-purpose wheel and tire comparison tool without accounts or a social service. Purchases and use should follow the App Store age rating and involve a parent or guardian where required. Contact support if a child has sent personal information directly to us.
This policy is effective October 12, 2026. Relevant changes will be reflected here with an updated date and additional notice where required. Any future data collection, account, or synchronization feature would require a new assessment and appropriate notice.
