Terms of Use

Bocce

Effective date: October 8, 2026

1. Provider and applicable license

These app-specific terms cover Bocce: Cozy Court Game, provided under the Set In Stone brand by the app provider identified on its App Store listing. Contact [email protected] with “Bocce” in the subject. Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement and applicable App Store purchase rules govern the app license. These terms explain Bocce’s features and purchase conditions; they do not override mandatory law or Apple’s enforceable license provisions.

2. Gameplay and permitted use

Bocce is a casual rolling-ball game with simplified house rules and a local computer opponent. It is not affiliated with a sports federation and does not provide official tournament rules or real-world coaching. Follow applicable laws, App Store usage rules, and the app’s age rating. Where required, a parent or guardian must oversee a minor’s use, purchases, and consent.

Use the app lawfully on devices permitted by the applicable Apple license. Do not interfere with services, manipulate purchase verification or rewarded-ad systems, or obtain unauthorized access. Restrictions on copying or reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law; lawful statutory exceptions remain available. The app, artwork, and software remain the property of the provider or its licensors.

3. Coins and cosmetic designs

Coins are in-game points earned through gameplay or an eligible completed rewarded ad. They can be used for available ball and court designs. These designs change appearance only and do not improve shot power, accuracy, or scoring. Coins and cosmetics are not money, have no cash redemption value, and are not transferable through the game.

Balances and unlocked designs are stored locally. The game does not offer a developer-operated account, progress synchronization, or a server backup. App deletion, device loss, storage failure, or replacement may cause loss of local progress. An Apple purchase restoration does not restore locally earned coins or cosmetics. Device backups may help according to their own settings, but restoration is not guaranteed by the app.

4. Advertising and rewards

Automatic advertising may appear between matches. Rewarded ads are optional: choose one to earn the displayed coin reward if the advertising service reports eligible completion. Closing early, network errors, no available ads, or an unconfirmed reward may prevent a reward. Do not repeatedly tap live ads or attempt to create fraudulent rewards. Ads are not required to start a match.

The advertising provider controls availability and ad content subject to its policies and applicable law. The app’s privacy policy explains Google advertising and consent processing. Use Ad privacy options in Settings when offered to revisit applicable choices.

5. One-time Remove Ads purchase

Remove Ads is an optional, non-consumable purchase billed once through Apple. It is not a subscription and has no recurring renewal charge. Apple displays your storefront’s price before confirmation; the US base price is $2.99 and prices or taxes may differ elsewhere.

The purchase removes automatic ads between matches while ownership is verified. Optional rewarded ads for coins remain available if you choose them. Remove Ads does not grant all cosmetics, sell coins, unlock online play, or provide a game-progress backup.

Use Restore Purchases in Settings with the Apple Account used for the purchase to restore eligible ownership. Purchases, restoration, and product loading require Apple’s services and an internet connection. An interrupted or pending transaction may not grant access until verified. A refunded or revoked purchase can end the entitlement. We do not promise that a new Apple Account inherits another account’s purchase.

6. Billing, refunds, and consumer rights

Apple processes payments and provides purchase records. Use reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple’s billing support for eligible refund requests. Contact [email protected] for app or purchase-access problems. These terms do not impose a blanket no-refund rule or waive statutory withdrawal, conformity, guarantee, or other non-excludable consumer rights.

Any applicable remedies, required updates, price reductions, termination rights, or compensation under mandatory law remain available. Mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction take precedence over conflicting limitations in these terms.

7. Availability, settings, and external services

Matches against the computer run locally and can be played offline. Advertising, consent services where needed, purchases, and purchase restoration depend on external services and connectivity. Sound and haptics can be adjusted in Settings. Apple, Google, Cloudflare, and linked websites have their own service conditions and privacy practices.

We may provide updates to fix issues, maintain compatibility, or improve the game. We do not promise a fixed release schedule, indefinite compatibility, or uninterrupted availability of an external service. Changes remain subject to existing purchase obligations and applicable consumer law.

8. Privacy, support, and responsibility

The Bocce Privacy Policy describes local game data, Apple purchases, Google ads and consent, support correspondence, and website requests. It forms the explanation of data practices alongside these terms. Email [email protected] with your device model, app and operating-system versions, and reproduction steps when reporting a problem. Avoid sending passwords or payment-card information.

To the extent permitted by law, the app does not guarantee error-free operation or protection against every local data loss. No clause excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable responsibility for fraud, intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights. These terms add no blanket indemnity obligation or separate fixed damages cap.

9. Ending use, disputes, and changes

You may stop using the game at any time. Deleting the app can remove local game progress but does not erase purchase, advertising, support, or backup records held separately. License termination follows the applicable Apple license and mandatory law.

For a complaint, contact [email protected] and describe the issue and requested remedy. Contacting us is not a prerequisite to exercising a statutory court or regulator right. Applicable governing-law provisions must not deprive consumers of mandatory protections of their usual place of residence.

These terms are effective October 8, 2026. Material changes will be posted with a revised date and additional notice where required. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights or alter a completed purchase contrary to law. If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, the remainder applies only to the extent it can operate without that provision.
