Privacy policy

Bocce

Effective date: October 8, 2026

1. Scope and contact

This policy covers Bocce: Cozy Court Game, provided under the Set In Stone brand. “We” refers to the app provider identified on the App Store listing. Contact [email protected] with “Bocce privacy” in the subject for privacy questions, requests, or complaints. The provider is responsible for information it receives to operate its services or respond to support requests.

Bocce stores game progress locally, but it also uses Apple purchase services and Google advertising and consent services. Local gameplay does not mean that these external services collect no information. This policy distinguishes their processing from information held on your device.

2. Game progress and preferences

Coins, unlocked and selected ball and court designs, audio and haptic preferences, and throw-guidance preferences are saved in the app’s local storage. Game positions and scores are processed on your device to run matches against a local computer opponent. Bocce has no app-provider account, developer-operated game-progress server, online multiplayer, or game-progress cloud synchronization.

Ordinary gameplay does not send your coin balance or cosmetic inventory to a developer-operated backend. We cannot remotely recover that inventory. Device backups may include local app data according to your device settings and the backup provider’s rules.

3. Apple purchases

Bocce uses Apple StoreKit to load the Remove Ads offer, show your local price, make and verify a purchase, and restore an eligible purchase. The app processes transaction and entitlement information, including product identifiers and purchase or revocation status, and keeps a local ownership state for continuity. Apple handles your Apple Account, billing, and payment details; we do not receive your full payment-card details through StoreKit.

Apple can provide the developer with sales and financial reports through App Store services. Restoring Remove Ads checks purchase ownership through Apple; it does not restore your locally earned coins or cosmetics. There are no subscriptions or RevenueCat integration in the current game.

4. Google advertising and consent

Bocce uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK for automatic ads between matches and optional rewarded ads for coins. Google’s User Messaging Platform handles applicable consent messages and privacy choices. Advertising requests and consent services communicate with Google and relevant advertising participants when those services are used.

Depending on the service, your choices, and configuration, Google’s SDKs may process IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them, device or app identifiers, advertising impressions and interactions, app interactions, consent signals, crash information, and performance or diagnostic information. Google uses this information to deliver and measure advertising, manage privacy choices, prevent fraud, and operate and improve its services. Advertising data may be shared with other participants involved in delivering or measuring ads.

The current app requests non-personalized ads and disables Google’s optional publisher first-party ID. It does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency authorization or deliberately access the advertising identifier through its own code. These settings do not eliminate all identifiers, advertising measurement, or data processing by Google. The app must not be understood as collecting no data merely because it requests non-personalized ads.

Ads are requested only when Google’s consent service permits them. When available, Settings → Ad privacy options lets you revisit the choices presented by that service. An unavailable ad or a declined optional rewarded ad does not prevent playing a match. Removing automatic ads does not disable the optional rewarded-ad feature or every external service.

Google’s privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Its advertising explanation is at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Google’s iOS SDK data-disclosure information is at https://developers.google.com/admob/ios/privacy/data-disclosure.

5. Support and website access

If you contact support, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments or device and app details you choose to send. We use these to answer your request, investigate an issue, and handle necessary follow-up. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary personal information. We do not gain access to your device simply because you email us.

Our support, privacy, terms, and overview pages are hosted on setinst.one through Cloudflare. Loading a page involves technical request information such as an IP address, requested URL, request time, and browser headers, used to deliver and secure the website. The static portfolio does not include a marketing analytics or advertising script. Cloudflare and your email provider process information under their own privacy notices.

6. Purposes, legal bases, and sharing

On-device game information is used to provide gameplay, settings, and cosmetic choices. Purchase processing supports the purchase you initiate. Support information is used to answer requests and maintain the service. Depending on applicable law and the activity, processing may rely on providing the requested service, legitimate interests in support, security and fraud prevention, legal obligations, or consent where required. Consent can be changed or withdrawn through the applicable service without invalidating earlier lawful processing.

We do not receive or sell your locally stored game inventory through ordinary gameplay. Information you send us may be processed by providers supporting correspondence, advisers where necessary for a claim, or authorities where disclosure is legally required. Google’s advertising processing is described separately above; we do not make a blanket promise that advertising data is never shared. Apple, Google, Cloudflare, and email services also have independent responsibilities for their own processing.

7. Retention, deletion, and international processing

Local progress and preferences remain on your device until removed with the app’s data. Deleting the app normally removes its local container; offloading it can retain data. Earlier backups may retain copies and must be managed separately. Removing local data does not delete Apple purchase records, Google advertising or consent records, or support correspondence.

We retain support correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to address the request, follow up, handle a dispute, or meet a legal obligation. Relevance, unresolved issues, and applicable recordkeeping rules determine the period; information should be deleted or minimized when no longer needed. External providers determine retention for their own records under their published policies.

Apple, Google, Cloudflare, and email or backup providers may process information outside your country. Where we arrange an international transfer subject to restrictions, applicable law requires an appropriate transfer mechanism or lawful exception. This policy does not promise that all service data stays in one country.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, and to withdraw consent or complain to a competent privacy authority. Email [email protected] to exercise rights concerning information we hold. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. We cannot retrieve local game information that has never been sent to us.

Use Settings → Ad privacy options when available for Google’s in-app choices. Requests about records held independently by Apple or Google should also be directed to that provider. Privacy requests do not automatically cancel or reverse a purchase. Device and backup information can be managed through the relevant operating-system or backup settings.

9. Age, security, and policy changes

Use the game in accordance with its App Store age rating and applicable local age requirements. A parent or guardian should oversee purchases and consent where required. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us inappropriately, contact [email protected] so we can investigate and take appropriate action. This statement is not a claim of certification for a children’s advertising program.

We take reasonable measures to protect information under our control, but no device, network, or storage system is guaranteed secure. Keep your device and app updated and avoid sending sensitive information in support messages.

This policy is effective October 8, 2026. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised date and further notice where required. A future change in services or collection must be reflected in the policy and applicable in-app choices.
